Consignment Agreement
Consignments are made by appointment only. We are looking for contemporary women’s clothing, jewelry and accessories in quality condition. Items must be appropriate for the season. We accept sizes up to XL. Vintage items will be considered.
Clothing must be freshly laundered, in excellent condition, and free of odors, stains, and pet hair.
We will select which items are appropriate for our customers. Their preferences will be our selection guidelines. Please understand that there may be items we cannot accept.
Occasionally we don’t discover stains or other damage until the item is prepped for sale. In such cases the item will be pulled immediately and donated or disposed of.
Your items will be displayed for a minimum of 60 days. Unsold items can be picked up only on the dates indicated on your consignment form. Allow yourself 30 minutes to locate your items. Items not collected become the property of Gather.
Prices will be set by Gather. We will ask the highest possible selling price for your items. Items may be marked down to facilitate sales.
You will receive 50% of your total sales in store credit, which does not expire. Alternatively, you may elect to receive 40% of your total sales in the form of a check which must be collected within 90 days of the end of the consignment period. If you would like your check mailed to you, please provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Checks will be mailed when the consignment period has ended. You will not be contacted regarding the status of your account.
Gather will exercise great care to safeguard your items but is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft. Items are left at Gather at the risk of the consignor.
